  2. I want to take this opportunity to thank the whole Yaram Team for a well put together event. We as a family, particularly the children, enjoyed this great Week especially the outdoor events. My children continue to ask me when the next one will be and I have to hesitate to explain that they had to wait till next year.
You lot are wonderful and we wish you all the best.

  3. You are faceless, spineless ranting idiots who are just too jealous to see good things happen. We are all residents of Hackney, and there is hardly any event culturally as positive as what we experienced last weekend that occurs in the Borough.
You don't even have the guts to put your names and details, if you were that genuine and concerned. Secondly, if there was an iota of truth in what you say, don't you think the Police, enviromental health or other council official would have intervened. I guess you must have placed a call to the Police or Noise Control people to sabotage the event, but how come No One turned-up to address your bloody lies. The simple reason is the authorities were aware of what was taking place and they know it is posiitive and good for the community.
Please take your jealousy/bigotry and idiocy and stuff it where it hurts.
    A Proud Gambian.

  4. Thanks Njog Malik and your committee members for a brilliant job well done from the 6th to 8th August by successfully inaugrating The Gambia Cultural Week, London 2010. I pray for this event be sustainable with more committed people to give help both moral and finacial. I was at the football tournament and watch almost every mateh with Peter Gomez, Baye Malleh Wada, Lamin Jaiteh and Musa Cessay. We watched every game with keen interest.

My personal observation is that you need two football pitches at the same park so that the tornament can finish on time. The teams needed more time perhahs 20 to 30minutes each half. I would like to suggest that your organising committee start working for next year's event with immediate effect. Your football pitch is excellent despite the rains the matches continue with success. Please count on my maximum support next year, the program is worthy course that every Senegambian must participate next year. I have no doubt this program can attract huge attention in UK and around the world. Keep it up. Wishing you Happy Koriteh in advance.

  7. Njok Malick,

Great website and timely!! Very nicely designed. The website is user-friendly: easy to navigate! Keep up the good work. We are proud of you and the excellent work you do for our community (ties). We are looking forward to (attending) the Gambian cultural week in London in August 2010. One thing about Njok Malick (the organizer) is that he has never let us down. Njok has always lived up to expectations – No wonder he is highly regarded and respected by those who work in the music industry in Senegal/Gambia.
